Greetings from Pen Mar
The Pen Mar Park Story
Copyright 2009 Historical Entertainment, LLC
The beginning of the Pen Mar story started in 1877 on a warm August
day. That marked the start of many memories for future generations to
come. Pen Mar Park was a place that couples, families and organizations
would come and revel in the beauty of the scenic views and relax in the
cool mountain breezes.
You’ll hear from park employees and visitors and
relive their memories. You’ll be entertained by their stories and you’ll be
glad you’ve been there in film.
Take a step back in time to a gentler era,
when even through the Great Depression, those who went to Pen Mar
were able to relax and enjoy the wonderful sights and sounds of the Park.

The Washington County, Maryland Convention and Visitors Bureau (www.marylandmemories.com) provided partial sponsorship for this film.
